Nigerian midfielder, Nosa Igiebor was among the scorers as Maccabi Tel Aviv defeated CS Pandurii Târgu Jiu of Romania 3-1 in their Europa qualification clash on Thursday.
Israeli attacker, Tal Ben Chaim opened scoring for Maccabi seven minutes into the game, Nicolea Ovidiu Herea equalized for the home team in the 30th minute, Igiebor put the visitors ahead in the 49th minute; before Dor Micha scored the last goalin the 77th minute, as the game ended 3-1 at regulation time.
Igiebor lasted for 79th minute, before making way for Israeli striker, Barak Itzhaki. Also forgotten Super Eagles midfielder, Christian Obodo came in as second half substitute in the 63 minute for Targu Jiu.
Elsewhere in France, former Super Eagles first-choice goalkeeper and captain, Vincent Enyeama was in goal for Lille Metropole in their 1-1 draw with FC Qabala on Thursday.
