National U-23 team, Dream Team VI, will leave the shores of the
country as from Tuesday in two batches for their training camp in the
United States of America, Sahara Sport reports.
The first batch is expected to leave Abuja on Tuesday, as the second
batch is also due to fly out on Wednesday, in order for them to meet up
with their test game against the Mexico senior national team July 2 in
Mexico City.
Head coach Samson Siasia recently released a 35-man provisional squad
for the Rio Olympics with most of the foreign-based professionals
expected to join the team in Atlanta though foreign stars like Ogenekaro
Etebo, Sadiq Umar, Usman Mohammed, Godwin Saviour, Azubuike Okechukwu
and Stanley Amuzie will leave with the squad next week.
