2018 World Cup Or Nothing – Insists Super Eagles Players

By Augustine Akhilomen

Super Eagles quartet of Leon Balogun, Elderson Echiejile, John Ogu and
Odion Ighalo have admitted that the team would take each game as a cup
final if the team must qualify for the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia.

Nigeria will play in the same group with eternal rivals, Cameroon,
Algeria and Zambia as they battle for the sole ticket for the World Cup.

In the opinion of Ogu, he tweeted that the Super Eagles must work hard to overcome their opponents in the group.

“Top football Nations but with hard work and fight, we can come out strong.” he tweeted.

Also, Balogun revealed that Nigeria’s road to success would be tough but the team won’t disappoint Nigerians.

“Far from easy, but it’s the hard road that leads to success. Let’s take
this opportunity and earn our spot,” Balogun wrote on his Twitter
handle.

In the same vein, Watford and Super Eagles striker, Ighalo, believed
that the Super Eagles can book a ticket to Russia if all necessary
things are in place.

He tweeted: “Impossible is nothing.”

More so, Echiejile posited that Nigeria would make it to the World Cup in Russia.

“Yes, we can.”  he tweeted.
