Watford to replace out-of-form Ighalo…

Nigeria International, Odion Ighalo is on his way out of Watford FC according to reports in England as the club is understood to be lining up a £10m bid for Burundi-born Saido Berahino.

Ighalo’s form slumped in 2016 having racked up an impressive 14 goals in the first half of the current season and now it appears Quique Flores has given his approval for the club to cash in on the former Granada C.F. striker. Read More

Nigeria captain John Obi Mikel and his deputy, Ahmed Musa, will play no part in the upcoming international friendly matches against Mali and Luxembourg on May 27 and June 1 as they have been allowed to feature in the Joseph Yobo Testimonial.

Former Eagles captain and first 100-cap player, Yobo, has his testimonial match scheduled for May 27 at the Godswill Akpabio Stadium, Uyo, same day the Eagles take their Malian counterparts in Rouen, France. Read More

Paris Saint Germain’s striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic has officially confirmed he’ll leave the French outfits this summer. The 34-year-old striker has spent four seasons with the club and his contract with the Ligue 1 club expiresat the end of the season, the star took to twitter on Friday to confirm he’d be leaving with a tweet saying: “My last game tomorrow at Parc des Princes. Rangers maintain lead despite loss…

Rangers have maintained top position in the Nigerian league despite losing 2-1 to Sunshine Stars at the Akure Township Stadium on Wednesday.
Sunshine took the lead through Samad Kadiri before Chisom Egbuchulam equalised for the guests via a well taken goal in the 40th minute of the game. Sunshine put the game beyond Rangers when Okiki Afolabi hit the net in the 60th minute for his eighth goal of the season. Read More
