Nigerian midfielder, Ikenna Paul Hilary has revealed that his Slovakian side, Skalica, has offered to extend his contract which is due to expire by the end of this season, SoccerNet Nigeria reports.
Ikenna however said he won’t be committing his future to Skalica just yet as he would be waiting till the season’s end to consider his options.
“Skalica wants to extend my contract but I’m waiting till end of the season to see how things turn out,” Ikenna told soccernet.com.ng.
The former 3SC player joined MFK Skalica in January this year from Valletta F.C. after his transfer to a Portuguese club broke down.
Speaking on if he would ever return to the NPFL in the future, Ikenna said, “I don’t think I can return to the NPFL, the people in charge are not ready to improve the League.”
