Nnamdi Oduamadi was in flying form as he scored a
brilliant winner for HJK Helsinki in their 2-1 win over Helsingfors but
it was former international Taye Taiwo that got the entire accolade as
he picked up the Man-of-the-Match award.
Playing at home, Helsinki took the lead in the derby when
Alfredo José Last Morelos scored for the Mika Lehkosuo led side but the
visitors hit back almost immediately Esa Terävä equalized.
And in what could go down as the craziest opening 15 minutes
start to a game in Finland this season Nigerian international Nnamdi
Oduamadi scored to give his side a 2-1 lead which actually turnout as
the match-winner.
Oduamadi saw 90 minutes action alongside the outstanding Taye
Taiwo who marshalled the left back with great dexterity but the other
Nigerian, Vincent Onovo was substituted in the 73rd minute for Sierra
Leone international, Mohamed Kamara.
Helsinki are now unbeaten in their last five matches and top the log with 26 points after 11 round of matches.
