Jose Mourinho to sign for Manchester United?

Former Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho is expected to sign a contact officially to become Manchester United’s next coach from next season, Sky Italia reports.

The Portuguese coach won the Premier League with Chelsea FC last season but was relieved of his duty as the manager of the West London club in December after going through a period when he oversaw his worst start to a league season in his long career as a coach by almost getting into the relegation zone. He has been linked with Manchester United for months and Sky Italia are the latest to do such as they suggest the tactician will manage in Manchester next season.Louis Van Gaal’s team are likely to miss out on a top-4 finish after they blew their chance to topple Man City with a 3-2 loss against West Ham on Tuesday, this means that the Cityzens need just a point to make the final champions league spot which sets coach Louis Van Gaal under fire. Van Gaal is likely to win the FA Cup for United but that won’t be enough to see him continue at old trafford next term. The Red Devils are keen to make Mourinho their new manager and reports state that the former Real Madrid manager has had a verbal agreement with the reds with an official contract set to be signed soon.
