All eyes turn to Port Harcourt this week as superstars around the world hit the Garden City for the Joseph Yobo Centenary Game scheduled for Friday, May 27.
Goal reports that Chelsea duo John Terry and John Mikel Obi are expected in Lagos on Wednesday (today) before departing for Port Harcourt on Friday for the game and are expected to return to England on Saturday evening,though the travel details of former Everton manager David Moyes is yet to be released.
Meanwhile, retired internationals, Eagles duo Vincent Enyeama and Emmanuel Emenike, have arrived Nigeria aswell as Danny Shittu. While Super Eagles vice-captain Ahmed Musa is still expected for the game.
Other stars expected to grace the occasion are Eagles legends Austin Okocha and Nwankwo Kanu, with top ex-internationals Julius Aghahowa, Yakubu Ayegbeni and Chidi Odiah also billed to be at the event.
Awaited top African stars include Didier Drogba, Samuel Eto’o, the Ayew Brothers, Sulley Muntari, Djibril Cisse, Tresor Lualua, Emmanuel Adebayor, amongst others.
Yobo became Nigeria’s first 100-cap player upon retirement in 2014. He featured in three Fifa World Cups and led the country to Afcon glory in 2013.
