Iheanacho bags Brace, MOTM as Man City trash Stoke

Iheanacho taps in a third in the second half at the end of Pablo Zabaleta’s pass to all but end the game as a contest

Manchester City fans picked Nigeria starlet Kelechi Iheanacho as man of the match after he scored a brace and caused a penalty in a 4-0 drubbing of Stoke City today.

He has now scored five goals in 24 appearances in the Premier League.

Iheanacho, 19, got his first goal of the day in the 64th minute when he calmly swept home a cross from the right by Pablo Zabaleta.

He doubled his tally 10 minutes courtesy of an assist by Ivorian striker Wilfried Bony.

The youngster was brought down by Stoke City defender Ryan Shawcrosson his way to goal for the penalty in the 43rd minute, which Sergio Aguero tucked away.
