Anyansi-Agwu extends stay at Enyimba, signs long term contract

Enyimba International chairman, Felix Anyansi-Agwu, has signed a new 4-year long-term contract with the Aba-based club, few days after the team’s heroics win against Tunisian giants Etoile Sportive du Sahel at the second round of the CAF Champions League clash in Sousse, Tunisia.

According to Sahara Reporters Sport, a top source revealed that: “Anyansi has secured his future at Enyimba after he recently signed a four-year contract.”

Felix Anyansi-Agwu had earlier survived quit rumours last year but has done well to lead the club to the CAF Champions League group stages following the 4-3 penalty shoot-outs win over Tunisian giants Etoile du Sahel on Wednesday thus keeping up with the ‘success’ theme during his tenure.

This is his 17th year in charge of the club, and his side has enjoyed a largely successful time winning two CAF Champions League titles, a record 7th league title in addition to four FA Cups.
