Super Eagles striker, Aaron Samuel Olanare late equalizer rescued CSKA Moscow from defeat in their 1-1 draw against City rival Lokomotiv Moscow in the Moscow derby clash on Saturday.
Croatian defender, Vedran Ćorluka scored first to give Lokomotiv early lead in the 22nd minute, before Aaron Samuel scored a late equalizer in the 84th minute, as the match ended 1-1 at regulation time.
Even though it was the first goal of the season for Aaron Samuel, but the 21-year-old striker, who is currently on loan from Chinese club, Guangzhou R&F gave good account of himself by scoring the vital away goal for the Army club in the Russian Premier League derby clash.
Apart from Samuel who tasted 90 minutes action for CSKA, Super Eagles vice-captain, Ahmed Musawas also in full time action, but failed to find the net in the same encounter. Another Nigerian, Ezekiel Henty also featured for Lokomotiv in the entire duration.
