Oliseh: Victor Moses Still In My Plan

Super Eagles head coach, Sunday Oliseh, has discuss the future of Victor Moses with the national team.

Moses, on loan at West Ham from Chelsea has been capped 24 times by the national team since making his debut in 2012 but he is yet to receive a call up since 2014 due to a succession of injuries.

Sunday Oliseh has however assured the player that he remains part of his plans, despite the player not featuring for the country since he took charge in 2015.

Oliseh also suggest in an interview with completesportsnigeria.com that he could call up the former Liverpool and Stoke City man for the Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers against Egypt in March.

“Yes, Victor Moses is still in our plan. All the players who are eligible to play for us are still in our plans aside those who have retired from the national team.

“The truth is that I will put a ‘but’ to it at the moment. This team started with the game against Tanzania and is evolving.

“We have played 14 games since I took charge of the team and we lost our first official game against Guinea at the African Nations Championship.

“We have like seven or eight players from the CHAN team that are good enough to play for the main Super Eagles.

“It’s good when you have a large pool of players to pick from, so everyone will have to fight for a place in the team.”
