Chelsea have stepped up their pursuit of reported Premier League target Alexandre Pato, according to the Daily Express.
The 26-year old Brazilian forward has been linked with a raft of English clubs this month, though the Blues are reported to have made the first real move in order to secure him.
Lebanese Premier League club Shabab Ghazieh have snapped up former Lillestrom striker Edwin Eziyodawe. The financial terms and length of contract signed by the 27 – year – old were not disclosed by club and player.
Eziyodawe was once thought to be the most expensive Nigerian signing by a Norwegian club but injuries have hampered his progress in recent years and he spent a portion of last season at NPFL club Enugu Rangers.
