Top NFF Official Shot Dead By Gunmen

A top official of the Nigeria Football Federation, Ibrahim Abubakar, has been shot dead.

This was disclosed by the NFF on its Twitter handle.

Abubakar, the NFF’s Head of Protocol, was shot dead in the early hours of Wednesday.

His attackers, believed to be armed robbers, killed him in his Abuja home.

Further information has it that the remains of Abubakar are on the way to his home state, Kaduna, for burial according to Islamic rites.
