Arsenal to face steep competition from German Clubs for Nigerian Starlet

According to reports, two high profile German Bundesliga clubs are making last minute moves to nick Nigeria Under 17 international Samuel Chukwueze from under the noses of Arsenal.

According to allnigeriasoccer.com, Wolfsburg and Borussia Dortmund are in talks with a representative of Samuel Chukwueze, with the Portuguese agent flying to Germany to discuss with both clubs regarding the possibility of his client joining one of the two teams.

Arsenal have invited Chukwueze and Golden Eaglets skipper Kelechi Nwakali to London to be shown around the club’s facilities with a view to signing preliminary contracts but it is not done and dusted that they will be acquired by the Gunners.

Red Bull Salzburg showed genuine interest in signing the Diamond Football Academy starlet but they are no longer in the race as they were dealing with an unauthorized agent.

The 16 – year – old won the Bronze Boot at the Fifa Under 17 World Cup with 3 goals and 3 assists to his name.
