Victor Moses, 24, faces another spell on the sidelines after picking up an injury in West Ham’s goalless draw with Manchester United in the Premier League on Saturday.
The Nigeria international will have to undergo a scan to ascertain the extent of damage and the number of weeks he will spend in the treatment room.
“It’s still too early, but it doesn’t look good again. It’s a hamstring – he felt it and we had to take him off, ” manager Slaven Bilic said.
“It’s a big blow for us, but we have to stay positive as some of the players maybe have a chance of being back for the Stoke game.”
Moses, who is on loan at West Ham from Chelsea, has made ten appearances for the Hammers in the Premier League.
