NPFL Week 36: Giwa and Warri Wolves turn the heat on Enyimba Int’l

The Glo Nigeria Premier Football League returns with week 36 games all scheduled to be played on Sunday.

In Umuahia, Abia Warriors will look to set booby traps for league leaders Enyimba International who need the maximum points to wade off the challenges of Giwa FC and Warri Wolves.

Dolphins may have been lifted out of the relegation waters with their current form but they face difficult foes in Bauchi when they play guests of Wikki Tourists.

Heartland should prepare for war when the league’s in-form side, Giwa FC, comes calling in Owerri. The visitors are a touching distance of Enyimba but know that any dropped points at this stage means an end to their title ambitions.

Shooting Stars know how to mix it up when playing in front of their teeming fans but in Ifeanyi Ubah they face a lion that has grown new teeth.

Nasarawa United have to put behind them the horrors of their last trip to Jalingo and turn their arsenal on Sharks. A loss for the Blue Angels will drag them deeper into the murky waters of relegation.

Warri Wolves have a chance to get even closer to Enyimba when they host troubled Bayelsa United. Secure three points and pray the Aba Elephants drop valuable points in Umuahia.

It is a battle of the stars when Sunshine and Lobi lock their destinies together in Akure to see who will shine brighter.

Rangers Int’l will look to make Enugu uncomfortable for Akwa United when the visitors come to town.
Northern rivalry will be rekindled when El-Kanemi Warriors play host to Kano Pillars.
