Nigeria National Teams Schedule For October


October, the Month of Nigeria’s Independence will be an eventful one with regards to Football. Here is Nigeria’s Football schedule for the Month of October.

Friendlies

The Super Eagles of Nigeria will be playing two friendly games in the month of October. Congo in Belgium, Brussels on Thursday, 8 and Cameroon three days later on Sunday, October 11.

CHAN Qualifier

The final CHAN qualifier was scheduled for October 18 in Port Harcourt with the second leg in Ouagadougou a week later. However, the current security situation in Burkina Faso caused by the coup has now forced CAF to postpone the fixture until further notice.

FIFA U-17 World Cup Chile

The 2015 FIFA U-17 World Cup hosted by Chile will kick-off on October 17. Team Nigeria who was drawn in Group A and is up against the host Chile, Croatia and USA. A difficult group it is. The competition is to end on 8th of November, hopefully the Golden Eagles will still be in he competition by then.
