The Golden Eaglets have sent a clear message to other participating teams at the Fifa Under 17s, which begins next month in Chile, with a 2 – 1 win over five – time finalists Brazil at the ongoing Suwon Continental Cup International Youth (U-17) Football Tournament in Korea.
Kingsley Michael opened scoring for Nigeria in the 20th minute before Chukwudi Agor extended the lead ten minutes later, his first goal for the youth team of Nigeria.

There was a nervy ending to the game after goalkeeper David Enogela conceded an own goal but the Golden Eaglet soldiered on to record their first win of the tourney.
As a result of the victory, Nigeria move into first place at the tournament, with the other game between Croatia and South Korea ending 2 – 2.
Victor Osimhen started and went the distance while skipper Kelechi Nwakali joined the fray nine minutes out of intermission.
