According to a Felele247.com report, Gbolahan Salami of Warri Wolves FC may not travel to Dar es Salam with the rest of the Super Eagles for the all-important 2017 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against the Taifa Stars of Tanzania.
Salami’s plans of featuring in the match which comes up next month may hit the rocks if nothing is done immediately to get his international passport out of the Norweigian embassy.
Sources at the Super Eagles camp have informed that Salami submitted his passport at the Norweigian embassy after his agent reportedly got him a deal with a club in their top flight league with the hope that everything will be tidied up within this August transfer window.[post_ad]
However, the 3 weeks stipulated for the visa to be ready has lapsed with no word from the embassy that the visa is ready and this, apart from frustrating the player, is now threatening to knock him out of the Super Eagles
