Arsenal remembers Nigerian Football Legend on his Birthday



English Premier League club Arsenal have wished their former striker Nwankwo Kanu happy birthday.
Born August 1, 1976, the ex Super Eagles skipper is celebrating his 39th birthday today, Saturday, and the Gunners posted a tweet to congratulate their former striker.

“Morning all – we start the day by wishing a very happy birthday to former @Arsenal star @papilokanu! #KingKanu, ”Arsenal said on twitter.

Nwankwo Kanu joined Arsenal in the winter of 1999 from Inter Milan and made 119 appearances for the Londoners in the Premier League, scoring 30 goals.[post_ad]
He won two Premier League titles, two FA Cups and the Community Shield during the five years he spent at Highbury.
