Oshoala Scores in Liverpool 2-1 Defeat

After getting on the score sheet in last weekend’s 3-1 away win against Arsenal Ladies, Super Falcons striker, Asisat Oshoala, failed to replicate the same performance as she limped off injured when Liverpool Ladies lost 2-1 at home to Notts County in the FA Women’s Super League on Saturday.
The game, which was played inside the Select Security stadium, saw Jess Clarke put Notts County ahead as early as the fifth minute.
And after sustained pressure from Liverpool Ladies, their effort paid off in the 25th minute thanks to a Rosie White strike which brought the game level.[post_ad]
But in the 52nd minute, Liverpool Ladies suffered a blow when Oshoala went off after sustaining a knock.
Then in the 58th minute, Clarke got the winner and her second goal of the game to secure the win for Notts County.
The win moves Notts County five point ahead of Liverpool Ladies in the table.
