Federation Cup Round Of 16 Fixtures

The Federal Capital Territory, Abuja will host two of the three all-Professional Football League clashes in next week’s Round of 16 games of the men’s Federation Cup competition.
On Wednesday, FC Ifeanyi Ubah, which sent packing fellow top division club Bayelsa United in the Round of 32, will battle FC Taraba, winners against Papilo FC, at the Area 3 Playground. On Thursday, perhaps the most anticipated game of the round – Kwara United FC against Enugu Rangers – will come up at the same venue.
The other all –top division clash, between Nasarawa United and Abia Warriors, will come up at the Oshogbo Township Stadium.
The Rojenny Stadium, Oba will play host to the clash between giant-killers Remo Stars of Ogun State (conquerors of Cup holders Enyimba FC) and Glo NPFL side, Lobi Stars. In Makurdi, Heartland FC will tackle BJ Foundation from Edo State, which eliminated Sportlight FC of Kaduna in the last round.
Prime FC will confront Akwa United at Oleh Township Stadium, and El-Kanemi Warriors must beware of Plateau United, which put paid to the ambition of both Shooting Stars and Kano Pillars. They will play at the Bako Kontagora Stadium, Minna.
