Pascal Patrick,a former Nigeria international, has voiced out his mind concerning the current state of Nigerian Football,he also said that the Nigeria Football Federation must decide on the coaching position of the Super Eagles ‘as soon as possible’.

Pascal believes it is difficult to get a settled national team with the players not sure of who their coach is, and states that the NFF must decide quickly what it wants to do and if they want to retain Stephen Keshi or if they want to hire a new coach for the team.
“The NFF must decide quickly what they want to do as it regards the coaching position of the Super Eagles. I don’t think it is good that nobody knows what will happen next with the team.”
“And even for the players too, they must be concerned about the situation because it can be very confusing when you don’t know who your coach is.”
“And as a result, the NFF must decide as soon as possible what they want to do with Stephen Keshi. Do they want to retain him or do they want him gone? I think these are the questions they must answer because we will have qualifiers start very soon,” he said.
It remains to be seen what the NFF will eventually decide, as President Amaju Pinnick says they have offered fresh terms to out-of-contract Super Eagles coach, Stephen Keshi.
