The President of NIGERIA Football Federation (NFF), Amaju Pinnick, has confirmed the dismissal of the Super Eagles Manager Stephen Keshi.

Pinnick took to his social network page with this confirmation status on Thursday: “Getting a new coach and technical crew for the Super Eagles has been a sensitive issue, though I will say that negotiations are ongoing and, in a strict manner, that sooner than expected a new coach and technical crew will be announced to the Nigerian public.”

Super Eagles fans have wanted Keshi to leave the job a long time, but without a approval to their suggestions, the Super Eagles fans believed that Stephen Keshi and his assistants, would continue to manage the team.

After the Super Eagles inability to qualify for the On-going AFCON 2015 Presidency reportedly forced the NFF to rescind their decision to drop the technical crew.

However, the NFF may have finally resolved to go for a new coach, while Keshi was on holiday for the past 2 – 3 weeks “Daniel Amokachi and Ike Shorunmu” Super Eagles assisitant coaches have managed the team so far.
