The spanish tactician has come under criticism lately for fielding surprising lineups and unwanted rotations in the team, however this is set to continue as the Spanish giants travel to Huesca for the first leg of their first round Spanish cup tie.
The Blaugranas surely won’t find it easy against the minnows as Huesca’s pitch is nothing to write home about. It can contain only 6,000 people, almost 20 times less than Camp Nou’s capacity. Their last game was also posponed due to their waterlogged pitch, however, Huesca’s boss has said that the pitch is now in perfect condition.
Barca are likely to be without Jeremy Mathieu who had reportedly been hit with a virus and will not count on Thomas Vermaelen who is set to be out for 4 months. Moreover, Andres Iniesta who was declared fit is likely to return as Captain with Xavi, Messi, Rakitic, Neymar and other first team big names set to be rested.
