THE FULL LFP AWARDS :Three Barca Stars Among Award Winners

Three FC Barcelona players were among the winners in the 2013/2014 LFP Awards held on Monday 27th October, 2014.
Midfielder Andres Iniesta won the ‘Best Attacking Midfielder’ award beating Ivan Rakitic and Koke.
Ivan Rakitic got an award for himself by claiming the ‘Fair Play Player’ award while youngster Rafinha Alcantara won the award for ‘Breakthrough Player’ with his astonishing performance while on loan at Celta Vigo last season.
Lionel Messi lost the ‘Best Player’ award to Cristiano Ronaldo. An Award which the Argentine had won the previous five.
Messi also lost the ‘Best Goal’ award to the Real Madrid star while Masip (Best Goalkeeper in Liga Adelante), Neymar (Best South American) and Busquets (Best Central Midfielder) all lost in their respective categories.
Moreover, Barca B forward Jean Marie Dongou won the ‘Best African in Liga Adelante’ award while Sergi Samper lost the award for the ‘Best Midfielder in Liga Adelante’.
