Munir: Messi is the greatest, playing alongside him makes football easier

Barcelona young starlet Munir El-Haddadi says that “everything becomes easier” when playing alongside Lionel Messi.
The Argentine has gotten his fair share of criticism lately following his somewhat tame display in the Blaugrana’s 3-1 Clasico defeat to Real Madrid.
In addition, Fifa president Sepp Blatter suggested this week that it was a mistake to award the Argentina captain the Golden Ball for best player at the 2014 World Cup.

The 27-year-old’s performances this year, however, were enough to see him nominated once again for theBallon d’Or and Munir is adamant that his team-mate remains the greatest player on the planet.
“Messi is the best player in the world, he’s a unique footballer,” the young Spain forward told Europa Press.

“He does incredible things with the ball at his feet and everything becomes easier alongside him. He’s my idol.”
Messi has seven goals and seven assists in nine Primera Division matches so far this season and is 2 goals shy of being La liga’s all time goal scorer.
