Serie A giants, AC Milan, are reportedly considering selling Super Eagles winger Samuel Chukwueze to bolster their attacking department, Soccernet.ng reports.
According to reports revealed by SempreMilan, the 19-time Italian Serie A Champions, look to generate funds for a potential move for Manchester United’s high-priced yet underperforming star, Antony.
Meanwhile, the Italian giants aim to balance their books while strengthening their squad, with Chukwueze’s departure possibly paving the way for a blockbuster transfer.
Reports from Caughtoffside indicate that Ex-Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag approved Antony’s departure as soon as the January transfer window, following the Brazilian’s struggle to find form at Old Trafford.
Milan, facing interest in Chukwueze from several Premier League clubs, including Aston Villa, Fulham, Wolverhampton Wanderers, and West Ham United, could capitalise on the opportunity to offload the Nigerian winger.
The Nigerian attacker has always been in Aston Villa’s books following his strong connection with Villa manager Unai Emery during his time at Villarreal CF.
If Milan secure a satisfactory offer for Chukwueze, they are expected to intensify their pursuit of Antony, with Juventus also reportedly monitoring the United winger’s situation.
However, Milan’s proactive approach could place them in pole position to land Antony in a move that would add depth to their attack.
