After winning their previous three games, Ruben Amorim’s Red Devils were stopped by Crystal Palace. The former Premier League champions started the game well, but the Eagles soon grew into the game.

The first half was goalless, but Crystal Palace took over in the last 30 minutes. Goals from Jean-Philippe Mateta in the 64th and 89th minute sealed the 2-0 win for the Eagles.

The loss was the Red Devils’ fourth loss in their last five games at home, and they now sit 13th in the Premier League.

For Amorim, it just worsens his record as he has lost eight of his first 19 games as Manchester United coach.

Super Eagles legend Oliseh, who regularly airs his views on social media expressed his dissatisfaction at the performance of the Manchester United players.

“Come on, This must be classified as a crime the way Manchester United is defending!! 0-2 to Crystal Palace at home in this manner? Boy do I feel sorry for the poor impotent Amorin,” Oliseh wrote on X.

Oliseh’s comments show that he believes that Manchester United’s struggles lie with the players rather than Amorim
