Brighton & Hove Albion have already signed Paraguayan midfielder, Diego Gomez from Major League Side, Inter Miami, but are still keen on bringing in another midfielder.

As per La Lazio Samoi Noi, the Seagulls have identified Fisayo Dele-Bashiru as the ideal midfielder to fit into Fabian Hürzeler’s tactical setup. The Italian outlet revealed the Nigerian’s performances for Lazio has attracted attention from clubs across Europe and 9th-place Brighton are keen on the services of the Super Eagle.

However, Lazio have no intention of selling the midfielder, as Dele-Bashiru only joined in the summer, and is a part of the club’s long-term plans. The Le Aquile hierarchy are pleased with his growth and believe he has a very high ceiling in Italy.

Fisayo Ayodele-Bashiru has scored four goals and provided two assists in 17 games for Lazio across all competitions this season.
