West Ham at loggerheads with three Premier League clubs for €60 million-rated Super Eagles star

English Premier League club West Ham are set to slug it out with three of their rivals for the signing of Super Eagles forward Ademola Lookman, Soccernet.ng reports.

Lookman has been impressive for Atalanta since he joined the club two seasons ago. However, most of the top clubs took notice of him after his hattrick in last season’s Europa League final against Bayer Leverkusen.

Top sides like PSG, Chelsea, and Arsenal were interested in signing Lookman, but Atalanta refused to budge.

This season, the 27-year-old Super Eagles star has continued with his impressive performances for Atalanta registering five goals and five assists in ten appearances.

Due to his impressive performances, the transfer talks have not stopped. Now, according to Team Talk, Premier League side West Ham are seriously interested in signing Lookman.

However, they will have to fight off interest from three unknown Premier League clubs. Atalanta have already slapped a €60 million price-tag on Lookman, and that is quite an affordable fee for many top Premier League clubs.

Nonetheless, it is unlikely that Lookman will choose West Ham if he eventually leaves Atalanta. They are currently battling for their lives in the Premier League with three wins from ten games.

If Lookman will move to the Premier League, it will likely be to a title challenger.
