Wilfred Ndidi's contract with Leceister City will expire this summer

Super Eagles star Wilfred Ndidi and his wife Fortunate recently enjoyed a couple’s getaway in Zanzibar, Soccernet.ng reports.

The Leceister City midfielder is taking a well-deserved break, following the end of the EFL Championship season.

Ndidi and his beautiful wife Fortunate were treated to a wonderful time on the beautiful island of Zanzibar, off the coast of Tanzania. The football star shared a video showcasing their experience in one of the world’s top vacation destinations.

The couple spent their vacation basking in the natural beauty of the island, enjoying the clear turquoise waters and stunning beaches. They also toured the tropical Island, interacting with the locals and learning about its rich history and culture.

The trip coincided with their wedding anniversary, which they celebrated over the weekend. The locals ensured the couple experienced a memorable celebration in true Zanzibar style.

Following their getaway, Ndidi has returned to Lagos to continue his holiday and other scheduled activities. He is set to participate in a Charity Champions Cup in Abuja, hosted by the Attom Foundation, on June 15.

The midfield maestro will also join the Super Eagles for the upcoming FIFA World Cup qualifiers against South Africa and Benin.
