Photos: Super Eagles goalkeeper Maduka Okoye’s Dutch girlfriend celebrates birthday in Germany

Maduka Okoye was voted as Udinese's "Player of the month" in March

Jelicia Westhoff, girlfriend of Super Eagles goalkeeper Maduka Okoye, celebrated a new age over the weekend, Soccernet.ng reports.

Okoye, who plays for Italian club, Udinese Calcio, has been away from the Super Eagles since 2021 due to the harsh criticism he faced after the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations.

Meanwhile, his longtime partner Jelicia Westhoff recently had an exciting birthday celebration in Germany. The Dutch beauty shared pictures from her “Girls night out” on Instagram.

Jelicia’s beautiful Instagram post was captioned “Thank god for another year. Celebrating in my baby’s cityy”. Interestingly, Okoye was born in Germany.

The football star and his lover have been together for over five years and also share a son. The couple made the news back in December 2023, when multiple news outlets reported that Jelicia was seen crying on the streets of Italy with her son, after Okoye kicked them out of his hotel room.

Jelicia however debunked the rumors of a dispute with a social media post, which read “stop the lies”. She was also at an Udinese game the following weekend to support her partner.

In other news, the 24-year-old goalkeeper has expressed his desire to return to the national team after choosing to stay away for a while. Okoye missed out on participating in the 2026 World Cup qualifying matches against Zimbabwe and Lesotho in November, due to issues with his international passport.
