“Who would win?” – Ex-AC Milan striker Ibrahimovic challenges British-Nigerian boxer Joshua

Former Swedish international Zlatan Ibrahimovic made headlines recently when he was pictured with British-Nigerian boxing sensation Anthony Joshua after Joshua’s impressive victory over Francis Ngannou, as reported by Soccernet.ng.

Joshua, who boasts Nigerian heritage from his mother’s side and Irish-Nigerian roots from his father, garnered significant attention in the media following his dominant win over the Cameroonian opponent in Riyadh.

Ibrahimovic, known for his association with football luminaries such as Cristiano Ronaldo, Ronaldo De Lima, and Jose Mourinho, has now added Joshua to his list of acquaintances.

In a tweet from his X (formerly Twitter) account, Ibrahimovic sparked speculation by posing the hypothetical question of who would emerge victorious if he were to face Joshua in a boxing match.

Before Joshua’s showdown, he crossed paths with Al Nassr forward Cristiano Ronaldo and his ring rival Tyson Fury during a visit hosted by Turki Alakshikh, an adviser to the Saudi Royal Court.

Following the bout, former Chelsea and AS Roma manager Jose Mourinho was seen applauding Joshua for his flawless victory over Ngannou.

With the dust settled, Joshua has returned to training and is preparing for a summer clash, reportedly against Filip Hrgovic in June, signaling his relentless pursuit of excellence in the boxing arena.
