WATCH: Nigeria striker Oshoala helps Barcelona to Spanish Cup quarter-finals with big win over Albacete

Oshoala has been in brilliant form this season, and she continued with her brilliance against Albacete

Super Falcons striker Asisat Oshoala scored for Barcelona Femeni in their 6-0 mauling of Albacete in the round of 16 of the Spanish Cup, Soccernet.ng reports.

Oshoala has been in brilliant form for Barcelona this season, and she continued with that form when they took on Albacete Women in the round of 16 of the Spanish Cup.

Barcelona were overwhelming favourites, and they wasted no time in showing their prowess. Giulia Dragoni scored the opener in the 20th minute. Then, Martina Fernandez added the second in the 35th minute.

Three minutes after Fernandez’s goal, Oshoala had her time to shine. She picked up a pass from Keira Walsh in the 37th minute, dashed forward and placed a precise curler into the net to make it three to the reigning Spanish champions.

Barcelona took a three-goal lead into the break, but they scored three more in the second half to complete the 6-0 obliteration.

Oshoala played the entire 90 minutes, but she failed to add to her tally. Her goal was her second consecutive strike for Barcelona Femeni in their last two games. Following her strike, the Super Falcons star now has eight goals across all competitions.
