Burnaboy’s songs has gained popularity in the football world, performing at the 2022 UEFA Champions League final

England coach Sarina Wiegman has revealed that a song by Nigerian megastar Damini Ebunoluwa Ogulu, known as Burnaboy, featuring Ed Sheeran, is her most played song, Soccernet.ng reports.

Wiegman, a prominent female coach who previously managed the Dutch women’s national team and now heads the English women’s national team, recently led the Lionesses to the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup finals against Spain. Although they lost 1-0 in the final after defeating host country Australia 3-1 at Stadium Australia.

In a lighthearted moment during a match conference, the Dutch manager shared her fun side when asked about her most played song.

While admitting she doesn’t usually know song names, she singled out the song by Burnaboy and Ed Sheeran as her favourite.

“Now, I didn’t expect this [question],” she said.”So I don’t know the name of the song. But it’s with Burnaboy and Ed Sheeran. I’ve definitely played that song the most”

The Halifax-born artist and Burnaboy collaborated on the track ‘For My Mind,’ which gained popularity in the music world. Additionally, Stormzy featured both artists in his song ‘Own It.’

Just like football stars who have their pre-match rituals, football managers, too, have their entertaining sides, often finding motivation through music, keeping themselves energized at all times.
