The Super Eagles of Nigeria have been slated to tackle Lesotho and Zimbabwe on the 16th and 19th of November for their 2026 FIFA World Cup qualification tie
Super Eagles players have been spotted preparing for their upcoming 2026 FIFA World Cup clash against Lesotho and Zimbabwe, Soccernet.ng reports.
Jose Peseiro’s team will first face Lesotho on November 16 at the Godswill Akpabio Stadium, Uyo, before traveling to Stade Huye to take on Zimbabwe on the 19th of November.
In the lead-up to the crucial clash, the invited Super Eagles stars are actively engaged in training sessions, as shown in footage capturing Real Sociedad forward Umar Sadiq and other players, including Fenerbahce defender Bright Osayi-Samuel, Nottingham Forest fullback Ola Aina, Fulham’s Alex Iwobi, and more.
A video also reveals the team participating in a group match, emphasizing the importance of fitness and team bonding ahead of the game.
