Jay-Jay Okocha weds again after 25 years of marriage

The former Nigeria international tied the knot 25 years ago, and he has gotten the experience again

Former Nigeria international Austin Jay-Jay Okocha and his partner Nkechi Okocha have renewed their vows after 25 years of marriage, Soccernet reports.

Okocha married his heartthrob Nkechi in 1997, and they have been blessed with two children, Ajay and Daniella.

Both, 50 years of age, have never missed any opportunity to share their love for each other. During Okocha’s 50th birthday celebration, Nkechi shared her admiration for her husband.

“My husband is just one. He would want him (the son) playing football, but I don’t think there is anyone who can be my husband because he is just special,” Nkechi told Pulse earlier this year.

Meanwhile, Nkechi clocked 50 on the 21st of October. Coincidentally, it was also their marriage anniversary, and the couple marked it in a special way.

The former PSG star Okocha and his wife Nkechi renewed their marriage vows in a magnificent ceremony that took place in the Maldives.

Both of them looked brilliant at the ceremony, with Nkechi donning a white gown while the Super Eagles legend wore a white suit and black trousers.

Okocha is regarded as the best dribbler to play for the Super Eagles. He has a career that spanned 18 years.
