EPL: Ex-Tottenham manager believes Eddie Nketiah could thrive at Manchester United

Eddie Nketiah notched three goals as Arsenal thumped Sheffield United at the Emirates Stadium with a score of five goals to nil

Former Tottenham manager, Tim Sherwood, has suggested that Arsenal striker Eddie Nketiah possesses the quality to play for a club like Manchester United, Soccernet.ng reports.

Sherwood believes that Nketiah represents an “upgrade” over Rasmus Hojlund.

Nketiah recently celebrated his first Premier League hat-trick as Arsenal convincingly defeated Sheffield United 5-0 over the weekend.

In the aftermath of the match, Sherwood argued that Nketiah could secure a starting spot in numerous top clubs, including Manchester United.

Sherwood stated, “I like to look at what he can do. He can play in a lot of teams. A lot of big teams. You’re telling me this boy couldn’t play for Man United at the moment instead of Rasmus Hojlund?”

“He’s an upgrade on Rasmus Hojlund. [United] spent an awful lot of money on him.” Sherwood added.

The former Tottenham manager concluded by saying, “For me, Eddie Nketiah is the top draw. I think he warrants playing for Arsenal at the top of the Premier League.” Sherwood expressed these views in an interview with Sky Sports.
