Watch: Super Falcons’ Nnadozie’s two penalty saves propel Paris FC past Arsenal

Chiamaka Nnadozie earlier established herself as a goalie to trust when she propelled Randy Waldrum’s Super Falcons to three clean sheets at the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup

Super Falcons’ goalkeeper Chiamaka Nnadozie exhibited her goalkeeping prowess to lead Paris FC to victory against Arsenal in the first-round qualifiers of the UEFA Women’s Champions League, Soccernet.ng reports.

The match which was held at the Linköping Arena Football Stadium ended in a breathtaking 3-3 draw during regular time, setting the stage for a dramatic penalty shootout.

During the game, Nnadozie, once again emerged as the hero, making two stunning penalty saves and guiding Paris FC to a 4-2 victory from the spot.

Nnadozie’s remarkable performance in this high-stakes match came as no surprise to those who followed her exceptional contributions to the Super Falcons.

Earlier this year, she showcased her talents at the Women’s World Cup in Australia and New Zealand, where her goalkeeping skills earned her recognition as one of the tournament’s standout players.

During the Women’s World Cup, Nnadozie kept a clean sheet in three matches, delivering critical saves even in the face of fierce opposition.

Notably, in the goalless draw against Canada, she thwarted a penalty attempt and was rightfully awarded the Player of the Match accolade for her extraordinary performance.

As things unfolds for Nnadozie, her star continues to rise, both on the club and international stages, making herself a formidable goalkeeper at home and abroad.
