Ola Aina excited to join Nottingham Forest: Embraces club’s vision and warm atmosphere

Nigerian defender, Ola Aina, recently made a move back to English Premier League after a long spell in Serie A

Super Eagles defender, Ola Aina, has expressed his enthusiasm for his move to Nottingham Forest, stating that he is eager to begin training with his new teammates, Soccernet.ng reports.

The Nigerian defender recently signed a one-year deal for the club, becoming Forest’s first summer transfer window signing.

Aina praised the City Ground outfit for their exciting project and team, emphasizing that he was drawn to the club’s vision for the future.

He revealed that Forest’s manager, Steve Cooper, played a significant role in convincing him to make a move back to England.

In a statement to the club’s official website, Aina shared his excitement, saying, “I’m very excited to be here, and I can’t wait to get started.”

He added that Nottingham Forest is a club with an appealing project and an exciting team, and he is looking forward to participating in it.

“The manager as well, what he wants from the team is something which I want to buy into,” Aina continued. “He’s told me it’s a family club, he’s told me we have a great bunch of players, and he’s told me I’ll enjoy it here.”

The defender also spoke highly of the manager, highlighting how Cooper’s approach and philosophy align with his own aspirations. He is keen to embrace the manager’s vision for the team and be a valuable contributor on the pitch.

The Super Eagles right-back was impressed by the club’s warm and welcoming atmosphere, describing it as a family club. He was assured that he would enjoy his time at Nottingham Forest, as the team comprises a great group of players.
