Super Eagles’ new invitee Bright Osayi-Samuel was the last player to land in Portugal to increase the number of players in camp to 16, ahead of the international friendly against Portugal.
Nigeria will trade tackles with Portugal in a preparatory game for the Selecao on the 17th of November at the Estadio Jose Alvalade.
Ahead of the fixture, Nigeria boss Jose Peseiro invited 23 players to camp. However, after Victor Osimhen and Olisa Ndah pulled out, Cyriel Dessers and Chidozie were called up as replacements.
The Super Eagles will have their first training session on Tuesday, and most of the players will be available as 16 players have already hit camp.
As at the time of this report, the players in camp are: William Troost-Ekong, Alex Iwobi, Bruno Onyemaechi, Kevin Akpoguma, Oghenekaro Etebo, Ebube Duru, Emmanuel Dennis, Paul Onuachu, Ademola Lookman, Calvin Bassey, Joe Aribo, Tyrone Ebuehi, Frank Onyeka, Terem Moffi, Chidozie Awaziem, and Bright Osayi-Samuel.
The players that are yet to arrive are: Maduka Okoye, Adebayo Adeleye, Francis Uzoho, Wilfred Ndidi, Moses Simon, Cyriel Dessers, SAMUEL Chukwueze.
