The final list of players for the 2022 World Cup in India has been released with 21 players making the final cut
Bankole Olowookere, the coach of the national female U-17 has released a final squad of players for the World Cup.
Olowookere released the list on Friday and the team is expected to leave for Turkey where they will undergo a 10-day training camp.
The Flamingos have been grouped alongside Germany, Chile and New Zealand at the tournament.
As the team left the shores of the country on Friday, the India High Commissioner to Nigeria, His Excellency Gangaharan Balasubramanian hosted the team to a dinner.
Foremost in the team is captain Alvine Dah-Zossu and hotshot, Opeyemi Ajakaye. The latter finished as top scorer during the qualifiers.

The team did not lose any game during the qualifiers and were Africa’s best team during qualifications as they won many games and scored lots of goals.
