Salisu prunes CHAN Eagles list as team departs for Cape Coast

Nigeria’s B team, the CHAN Eagles have departed Abuja for Ghana where they will face the Black Galaxies 

Salisu Yusuf, the coach of the Nigerian B team and assistant coach of the Super Eagles has reduced the number of players to 26 with four of the boys left in Abuja.

The regular suspects including Sani Faisal, Babatunde Bello, Chiamaka Madu and others who were invited by Jose Peseiro have been handed a place on the team to Ghana.

The Super Eagles B will face Ghana this weekend with the second leg to come up in Abuja during the week.

NPFL champions Rivera United have the highest collection of players on the team to Ghana for the 7th African Nations Championship qualifiers.

The game will come up on Sunday August 28th at 5p.m West African Time (WAT).

Which players have been selected to face Ghana?

A total of 22 players have been selected to face Ghana at the Cape Coast while four will wait for the team on its return to Abuja.
