Napoli’s Nigerian midfielder linked with Serie A move

Michael Folorunsho is set for an exit from the Neapolitans and the Italian top flight is expected to be his destination

After resuming preseason with Napoli, Folorunsho is looking to show enough to convince Napoli manager, Luciano Spalletti.

He impressed on loan last season at Reggiana and some Serie A clubs are turned up to the prospects of having his services ahead of next season.

He also played on loan at Bari between 2019 and 2020 and left good vibes at the club.

Folorunsho also played on loan at Pordenone last season and had a good time at the club before returning to Reggiana.

The 24-year-old midfielder joined Napoli in 2019 but has not made a single appearance for the club in three years.

His youth career was at Lazio and he made great strides as a youth player.

Folorunsho was born in Italy to Nigerian parents. He spent the longest time of his career so far at Francavilla where he spent two years between 2017 and 2019.
