Important decision made on Manchester United’s interest in Nigeria-eligible youngster

Nigeria-eligible youngster, Malcolm Ebiowei has been on the radar of Manchester United and Crystal Palace for months but the Red Devils may have withdrawn from the race

Italian Transfer guru, Fabrizio Romano has given an update on the transfer situation of the Derby County youngster.

In his podcast, Here We Go, Romano said Manchester United signified interest in the winger but aren’t looking to make a move for him again.

“Really talented. Many Manchester United fans are asking me if it’s true that he’s joining Manchester United. Talented guy. My answer is no.

“From what I’m told Manchester United really interested in him since a long time but I think he’s not joining Manchester United.”

Ebiowei is wanted by Crystal Palace also as he hopes to take his football to a higher level after the Rams’ relegation.

The former Golden Eaglets invitee may fancy a move to London with players with similarities to his profile at the club.

Manchester United are looking to rebuild and once signified an interest in the former Arsenal and Rangers Academy star but with Erik Ten Hag not sanctioning the deal, the club has turned their eyes on other targets.
