The game against the North Americans has been slated for the 28th of May.
Nigeria didn’t make it to the World Cup but has quality friendlies lined up for the team by countries who are playing at the mundial.
Mexico, who came second behind Canada at the CONCACAF qualifiers have been grouped alongside Saudi Arabia, Argentina and Poland.
The Super Eagles do not have a coach at the moment after Austin Eguavoen stepped down from his position following his failure to help the Super Eagles pick a World Cup ticket.
A rich list of foreign coaches has however been drawn by the NFF with former Barcelona and PSG coaches mentioned as some of the people the federation is considering.
The Super Eagles are still seen as worthy adversaries by many in spite of their failure to make it to Qatar as the team possesses good players performing in top European leagues.
Soccernet earlier reported that South Americans, Ecuador has also listed the Super Eagles for a June friendly game in preparation for the World Cup.
Ecuador have been grouped alongside Senegal, Qatar and the Netherlands.
