Nigeria will face Ghana and Burkina Faso at the U-20 WAFU B tournament
Flying Eagles coach, Ladan Bosso has announced the twenty-eight players that will be taken to the WAFU tournament in Niger.
Bosso had initially invited 40 players to the Flying Eagles camp in Abuja and had seen the players for the past two weeks.
After rigorous tests and some training matches played in the past two weeks, twelve of the players were cut from the list.
The selected players comprised three goalkeepers, eight defenders, eight midfielders and nine attackers.
The 28 players invited for the WAFU B tournament are;
Goalkeepers: Nathaniel Nwosu, Chijioke Aniagboso, Saheed Jimoh
Defenders: Opeyemi Omooloyi, Abubakar Babaji, Lekan Oyedele, Oluwatosin Adegbite, Augustine Njoku, Chikezie Okolie, David Sholumade, Benjamin Frederick
Midfielders: Anas Hassan, Daniel Daga, Oluwaseyi Falodun, Samson Lawal, Onuche Ogbelu, Muhammad Shehu, Frederick Godwin
Attackers: Adams Olubi, Tolulope Ojo, Ibrahim Muhammad, Ibrahim Yahaya, Rilwanu Aminu Sarki, Divine Nwachukwu, Ahmed Abdullahi, Abdullahi Adam, Albert Hillary
The two finalists from the competition will qualify for the African Youth Championship.
