Leicester City manager, Brendan Rodgers has revealed a time frame for Wilfred Ndidi’s return after the midfielder appeared to have torn his medial ligament.
Rodgers giving an update of Leicester’s heavy injury list said the Super Eagles midfielder will be out for a few weeks.
The Northern Irish manager had revealed that Ndidi suffered a block tackle in the game against Rennes.
Ndidi had cleanly won the ball but looked to have hurt himself in the process.
“We just have to assess. He picked up an injury that might keep him out for a few weeks, which is a shame. And Marc Albrighton had to come off.
Ndidi will be a major absence for the Super Eagles when they face Ghana in the World Cup qualifiers on the 25th and 29th of March.
His reported absence has sent Nigerian football fans ruing the situation as he’s considered one of the most dependable members of the squad and arguably the best midfielder in the team.

Brendan is Northern Irish, not a Scot.
